All contribution payments can also be paid by direct debit. Following are the steps to setting up a direct debit:

  1. Obtain a National Provident Fund Scheme Direct Debit Form by clicking on the following link Direct Debit Form

  2. Complete the form and send it to:
    Contributions Management Team
    Datacom Connect Limited
    P.O. Box 1036
    Wellington 6140

You should allow 14 days after sending the completed direct debit form before it has been loaded to the bank system and is available for use.

Please note that a separate Direct Debit form will need to be completed for each Scheme product you are sending contributions for.

Once the direct debit is active you will be notified. Money will then be automatically debited from your nominated bank account the day after you send the corresponding valid contributions data to Datacom.

After you have sent the contributions data to Datacom you will receive an automated email message informing you that the amount of money you specified in the contributions data will be deducted from your bank account in the next 24 hours. This gives you time to ensure there are sufficient funds in the bank account to cover the direct debit withdrawal.
